I just had to get out of the train station area to enjoy what Harbin has to offer. It definitely has a few charming features, like Zhongyang Dajie, a cobblestone street lined with shops and restaurants housed in Russian-style buildings, and the Church of St. Sophia, which was built in 1904.
And here’s the twilight from a ferry on the Songhua River. The sunset was more beautiful than the ones in Hangzhou.
I’m off to Jixi tomorrow, which is a 5-6 hour drive. More later. Until then, enjoy the batch of pictures of Harbin I uploaded to my feed.
