The scene: I’m sitting at the NBC cafeteria, eating lunch with NBC colleague Yi Song, who helped translate for my article on local reaction to the photo of the Spanish basketball team. As I’m stuffing my face with rice and stir-fried chicken, some one asks if he could take the salt shaker. I look up, straight into the face of Brian Williams. I nod my head casually, not flustered by the request from the face of NBC.

That’s how I roll.

I did check if I had a grain of rice on my face afterward.
